KILZ 2® STANDARD No. L2011
KILZ 1 STANDARD Primer is designed for use on multiple interior surfaces helping save cost by reducing the number of coats of paint needed to achieve optimal results. It seals porous surfaces, hides minor scuffs and marks and promotes a more uniform appearance of the topcoat. It’s ready to brush, roll or spray and can be topcoated after one hour with latex or oil-based paint.

28-37 m2 per 3.79 L depending on the surface texture, porosity and application method.
- Use KILZ 1 STANDARD Primer on almost all interior surfaces including wood, drywall, plaster, brick, masonry and more.

SURFACE PREPARATION*
The following steps are recommended for product performance.
- Cover all nail and screw heads with joint compound according to directions and sand to smooth surface.*
- Tape drywall and apply joint compound. Allow to fully cure according to directions prior to priming.
- Sand to smooth surface before priming.*
- Wipe off dust with a damp cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly.

- Eye protection is recommended.
- Use only when temperatures are between 10° C and 32° C.
- Coverage is approximately 28 – 37 m2 per 3.79 L depending on surface porosity.
- For airless spray applications, tip size should be .017" - .021". 60 mesh filter.
- May be tinted with up to 60 ml of universal colourant per 3.79 L container.
- Glossy Surfaces: Not recommended. Please use KILZ PREMIUM, KILZ RESTORATION, KILZ ADHESION or KILZ oil-based primers.
- Masonry, Brick, Stucco and Plaster: Not recommended. Please use KILZ PREMIUM or KILZ 2 Primers. Stainblocking: Not formulated to block stains - For stainblocking, use oil-based primers like KILZ ORIGINAL and water-based primers like KILZ 2 or KILZ PREMIUM.

DRY TIME
- Dries to touch in 30 minutes at 25°C and 50% humidity.
- Application at lower temperatures, high humidity or poor ventilation will affect dry time.
- Paint or topcoat after 2 hours.
