How to Sand Cabinets
There are a couple of different ways to sand, but for smaller jobs like a cabinet, it is better to use a block sander for more control.
For Best Results:
Take your time sanding to achieve an even surface and remove any previous top coating. This will help the paint adhere to the surface, giving you a smooth finish.
Suggested Tools & Supplies

Sandpaper (150-220 Grit)

Sanding Block

Step 1Grab a sanding block.

Step 2Wipe down area with a damp towel.

Step 3Using a block sander, sand in a back and forth motion, moving with the grain of the wood until you have covered the entire surface.

Step 4Wipe off excess dust.
