Preparation
PROPER SURFACE PREPARATION IS REQUIRED
- NEW OR UNPAINTED SURFACES: New concrete must cure 30 days. Test for loose concrete by pressing masking/cellophane tape on surface, then pull off abruptly. If the tape doesn’t remove concrete, it can be painted. If concrete is removed, scrape down to a sound substrate.
- BELOW GRADE APPLICATION: Patch all holes or cracks with a fast setting hydraulic cement.
- ABOVE GRADE APPLICATION: Remove mildew stains with a mildew stain removing product. All surfaces must be clean, free of dirt, efflorescence and oil. Clean surface with a product such as BEHR PREMIUM™ NO. 991 Cleaner & Etcher.
- PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES: BEHR PREMIUM DryPlus NO. 875 provides best results on bare/untreated surfaces. PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION MAY BE PAINTED. HOWEVER, BEHR WILL NOT GUARANTEE RESULTS. Test for loose concrete as stated under “New/Unpainted Surfaces” above. Remove deteriorated coatings. Follow all prep instructions under “New/Unpainted Surfaces” above.

Application
- Stir well before use.
- Do not thin or apply at greater spread rate.
- Use with adequate ventilation.
- Use product when air/surface temperature is 10-32° C. Apply to dry or slightly damp surfaces. Wipe off any moisture before painting. Apply with a 13-19 mm nap roller, 4 cm nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer @ 155-225 kg/cm2 (2,200-3,200 lbs/in²) PSI using a .023 -.025 spray tip.
- Apply using a high quality 1/2"-3/4" nap roller, 4" nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer capable of delivering 0.5 GPM or greater using a .023"-.025" spray tip.
- Two coats minimum are required: First Coat: Use a brush or roller, work onto the surface covering all pores or voids. Repeat for second coat. Spot applications may be needed depending on porosity.
- Important: If leaking persists after 2 coats, it indicates voids and pinholes are still open. Reapply to area.

WARRANTY
Behr Process LLC warrants to you, the original consumer purchaser, the performance of this product as described on this label for 10 years on vertical surfaces, from the date of purchase. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT VALID WHEN THE PRODUCT IS NOT PROPERLY APPLIED TO A PROPERLY PREPARED, PREVIOUSLY UNCOATED AND PREVIOUSLY UNTREATED VERTICAL SURFACE OR CARED FOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LABEL DIRECTIONS. Colour fading and chalking will occur naturally over time. This warranty is not transferable. If this product is found not to perform as specified on the label during the warranty period, Behr Process LLC will, at its option and upon presentation of proof-of-purchase (the original receipt), either furnish an equivalent amount of new product or refund the original purchase price of this product to you. The clause of limitation of liability which follows is inapplicable in Québec. This warranty excludes (1) labour and costs of labour for the application or removal of any product, and (2) any incidental or consequential damages, whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory. The above provisions are not intended to operate where prohibited by law. This limited warranty is the only warranty provided by Behr Process LLC unless extended by a provincial consumer statute.
