How to Apply and Remove Painter's Tape
Whether you are a painting novice or a professional expert, painter's tape will help you achieve a flawless finish on your interior paint job.
For Best Results:
Select a painter's tape specifically designed for your surface type. Check for specific use instructions and tips on the tape manufacturer's website.
Textured surfaces may require extra time to seal.

Putty Knife

Step 1Grab your tools.

Step 2As you apply the painter's tape, make sure to press down as firmly as you can.
TIP: When applying the tape, use an arm’s length at a time.

Step 3If you see any bubbles, use the putty knife to press them down to help prevent any paint from seeping through.

Step 4While the paint is still wet, remove the tape.
