Primed or painted Interior Ceilings.
Preparation
- Remove loose paint, wash off any dirt and grease with detergent, remove mildew stains with a mildew stain removing product.
- Scuff sand glossy surfaces.
- Countersink nailheads, repair imperfections and sand smooth.
- Remove all dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry.
- Allow new stucco, plaster and masonry to cure for 30 days before priming.

Prime
- Use a product such as BEHR® Kitchen, Bath & Trim Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer No.75.
- On new drywall in low-moisture rooms, use a product such as BEHR® Drywall Plus Primer & Sealer No. 73.
- For optimal colour development, better hide, and to reduce the number of topcoats with deep colours denoted with a dagger (†) on the colour chip, apply a custom tinted primer.

Application
- Use product when the surface and air temperatures are between 10-32ºC.
- Stir paint occasionally. Intermix containers of the same product to ensure colour and sheen uniformity.
- Use a high quality 10-13 mm nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015”-.019” spray tip, 60 mesh filter).
- Do not thin if using a roller or brush; however, if using a sprayer and thinning is required, thin with water at a rate of no more than 250 mL per 3.79 L.
- Certain colours may require more than one coat for complete hide.
- Darker colours may require additional dry time between coats.
- Popcorn style acoustic ceilings, use acoustic ceiling roller cover or airless sprayer (.015-.017 spray tip).
- Cooler temperatures or higher humidity may prolong drying time.

Dry Time
- Dries to touch in one hour at 25ºC and 50% humidity, recoat in 2 hours. Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in higher humidity.
- After two weeks, cured paint film may be cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.

If this product is found not to perform as specified on the label during the warranty period, Behr Paint Company will, at its option and upon presentation of proof-of-purchase (the original receipt), either furnish an equivalent amount of new product or refund the original purchase price of this product to you. The clause of limitation of liability which follows is inapplicable in Quebec: This warranty excludes (1) labour and costs of labour for the application or removal of any product, and (2) any incidental or consequential damages, whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory.
